Job descriptionBachelors in Civil Engineering / M.Tech in Structural, Geotech, or Environmental Engineering Experience in substation / switchyard civil design for sectors like power, oil & gas, cement, etc. Knowledge of RCC, steel structures, geotechnical aspects, drainage, and road works. Familiar with GIS / AIS substations, topography, soil reports, and environmental factors. Understanding of vendor drawings and fabrication / detailed drawings. STAAD, ETABS (Analysis & Design) AutoCAD, REVIT (Drafting Preferred) TEKLA (Structural Detailing Preferred) MS Office Suite

Experience : 10+ years
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform structural analysis and design of substation components (e.g., control buildings, transformer foundations, cable trenches, gantry towers).
- Prepare and review design documents, structural drawings, and BOQs.
- Coordinate with internal teams, site engineers, clients, and consultants for approvals and clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (IS, IEC, etc.).
- Optimize quantities while meeting project and client requirements.
- Support pre-bid engineering, prepare DBRs and DCIs, and participate in technical discussions.
