Workday Integrations Consultant - Studio & Payroll Integrations

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Workday Integration Specialist with expertise in Payroll Integrations and Workday Studio to join our HR Technology team. In this role, you will design, build, test, and support complex integrations between Workday and internal / external payroll systems to ensure seamless and accurate data flow.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIBs, along with a strong understanding of Workday Payroll data models and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect for Third-Party Payroll, and EIBs.

Partner with Payroll, HR, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Support end-to-end payroll integration processes, including file transfers, data transformations, and vendor connections.

Monitor and troubleshoot integration errors and ensure timely resolution.

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and support procedures.

Conduct testing and validation of integrations during Workday releases, payroll cycles, and system upgrades.

Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance policies.

Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within Workday integrations.

Requirements

Required :

5+ years of experience with Workday Integrations (including Workday Studio).

Strong technical skills in XML, XSLT, Web Services (SOAP / REST), and file-based integrations (SFTP, HTTPS).

Experience with Workday Payroll or Third-Party Payroll Integrations (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, NGA, or regional vendors).

Understanding of Workday data models, business processes, and security configuration.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Preferred :

Workday Integration Certification (Studio and / or Core Connector).

Experience supporting global payroll integrations.

Knowledge of Workday Extend, Reporting, or BIRT.
