Position Overview
We are looking for an accomplished and strategic professional to take on the role of AVP – Credit Risk Reporting , leading an offshore team responsible for supporting global risk reporting and data integrity initiatives. This role plays a key part in the design, development, and execution of critical credit risk reports, supporting senior executives including the Chief Risk Officer, Chief Credit Officer, and Risk Committees across the U.S. and other regions.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in credit risk reporting within large, globally regulated financial institutions, a strong command of data governance principles, and a demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams. The position demands strong analytical acumen, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical insights in a simplified, strategic manner.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor a high-performing offshore team of senior analysts responsible for end-to-end credit risk reporting and data integrity.
- Drive onboarding, capability development, and continuous upskilling to meet evolving regulatory and management reporting requirements.
- Promote a strong risk culture by aligning team practices with enterprise-wide standards and global expectations.
Credit Risk Reporting & Governance
Oversee the timely delivery of high-impact credit risk reports tailored for senior governance bodies including risk and credit committees.Provide actionable insights into credit risk drivers and portfolio trends, combining quantitative analysis with executive-level storytelling.Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as the primary liaison between offshore teams and global counterparts, ensuring clarity in expectations and seamless execution.Translate complex data models and technical language into concise, understandable summaries for non-technical leadership.Facilitate two-way communication by localizing global directives and effectively escalating local concerns to onshore leadership.Data Governance & Risk Controls
Ensure adherence to data governance standards such as BCBS 239 and internal control frameworks (e.g., DMICF).Monitor data quality metrics, lead remediation efforts, and manage incident escalation protocols to mitigate risks.Own accountability for data accuracy, lineage, and transparency across all credit risk reporting streams.Operational Excellence & Innovation
Oversee daily operations including workload planning, deliverable tracking, and deadline adherence.Identify and drive automation opportunities, leveraging emerging technologies and AI to optimize reporting processes and enhance data capabilities.Key Qualifications
12+ years of experience in the financial services sector, with at least 8+ years in credit risk reporting, risk analytics, or regulatory reporting within global banks.Proven track record of building, leading, and scaling offshore risk or analytics teams in a matrixed environment.In-depth understanding of credit products, risk frameworks, regulatory expectations, and data governance principles.Proficiency in data visualization and reporting platforms such as Tableau; familiarity with enterprise data systems.Working knowledge of control frameworks such as DMICF or equivalent for data quality management.Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trust across diverse geographies.Superior written and verbal communication skills; adept at producing concise executive summaries and presenting complex concepts clearly.Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments.
