Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Vice President - Sales (PBU Care) located in Bengaluru. The AVP - Sales will be responsible for sales, account management, sales operations, sales management, and business development & dealer development on a day-to-day basis.
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Healthcare Technology, or Life Sciences.
- MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Healthcare Management, or Business Administration is strongly preferred.
Experience :
Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in healthcare equipment or infection control solutions.Proven track record in hospital sales, medical device distribution, or clinical hygiene systems.Experience managing pan-India architects, hospital planners, dealer networks, and direct institutional clients (e.g., hospitals, nursing homes, government tenders).Technical & Domain Knowledge :
Strong understanding of infection prevention protocols, hospital hygiene standards, and clinical workflows.Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of bedpan washer products, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.Familiarity with bed pan washer technology, ISO / EN standards, and regulatory compliance in the Indian healthcare sector.Ability to engage with clinical stakeholders, including infection control officers, biomedical engineers, and hospital procurement teams.Skills & Competencies :
Strategic sales planning and execution with a focus on market penetration and revenue growth.Proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics, and forecasting models.Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements.Proven sales experience, with the ability to negotiate and close deals.Cultural fluency and adaptability for working across diverse regions in India.Preferred Certifications (Optional) :
Certification in Medical Device Sales, Hospital Infection Control, or Healthcare Compliance.Training in cross-cultural business practices (especially Indo-German collaboration) is a plus
