The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with Australian tax expertise to join us in-office in Ahmedabad. This role requires hands-on Australian experience at a Senior Accountant level, and you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting and tax services directly aligned to Australian standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will :

• Prepare and review Financial Statements for Australian entities in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.
• Prepare and review Individual, Company, Trust, and Partnership income Tax Returns
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), and GST Reporting
• Manage workpaper files, ensuring reconciliations and supporting documentation are complete and accurate
• Review and provide feedback on the work of intermediate accountants and junior team members
• Research and resolve Australian tax and accounting issues, applying legislation and ATO rulings
• Liaise with client managers to clarify requirements, deliver accurate outputs, and ensure deadlines are met
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
• Support client advisory services, including cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting tasks where required
