Job Description

1. Strategic Leadership : o Develop and implement the strategic vision for the EV Battery Division, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives. o Define and drive the long-term strategy and roadmap for the division, including market positioning, technology development, and business expansion. 2. Business Performance : o Oversee the financial performance of the EV Battery Division, including revenue growth, profitability, and cost management. o Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets. o Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and financial metrics to make informed decisions and drive business results. 3. Operational Excellence : o Ensure efficient and effective operations across the division, including R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance. o Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration : o Lead and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization, including engineering, sales, marketing, and finance, to achieve business objectives. o Facilitate communication and coordination between the EV Battery Division and other business units to drive synergy and alignment. 5. Market and Customer Focus : o Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. o Monitor market trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments to adapt strategies and capitalize on new opportunities. 6. Leadership and Team Development : o Build and lead a high-performing team within the EV Battery Division, including recruitment, mentoring, and performance management. o Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability to drive team engagement and success. 7. Innovation and Growth : o Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and growth within the EV battery sector, including new technologies, products, and market segments. o Evaluate and support strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and investments that align with the division's growth objectives. 8. Compliance and Risk Management : o Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. o Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential challenges and safeguard the division's interest

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.  Extensive experience (15+ years) in leadership roles within the EV battery industry or a related field, with a strong track record of managing P&L and driving business growth.  Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage financial performance, and lead cross functional teams.  Strong understanding of the EV battery market, technologies, and regulatory environment.  Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.  Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
