About the Role :
The Division of Mental Health, Justice Health, and Alcohol & Drug Services (MHJHADS) delivers support to both youth and adults across a range of settings, including inpatient and outpatient services, community health centres, and justice health facilities. MHJHADS is committed to fostering social inclusion and operates within a recovery-oriented and harm minimisation framework. Active involvement of consumers and carers is encouraged throughout all stages of service planning and delivery. The Division collaborates closely with government and non-government organisations to ensure optimal outcomes for individuals accessing its services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar (Psychologist) to join the friendly MHJHADS Neuropsychology team, which is centrally located with easy access to shops, public transport, and parking. The team provides high quality neuropsychological services across MHJHADS including :
Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services
Adult & Older Persons Mental Health Services
Alcohol & Drug Services
This is a position for a new graduate psychologist. The successful applicant will be supported to undertake their Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar program and in-house supervision (with a Board approved supervisor) can be provided. The successful applicant will also be part of a large network of psychologists with access to internal training and education.
This is a temporary full-time position for 24 months, with the possibility of extension or permanency. An Order of Merit may be used to fill future identical vacancies in a 12-month period.
