Role Overview
As a Pre-Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for prospective parents and students. Your role is to understand their needs, educate them about our offerings, and guide them toward booking a trial session or signing up. You’ll work closely with the Sales team to ensure a seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with inbound leads via calls, WhatsApp, email, and CRM systems.
- Understand the student’s learning needs and family’s goals to recommend suitable mentor options.
- Explain Mentor Match’s value proposition, pricing, and success stories to prospective customers.
- Handle objections and doubts with empathy and clarity, building trust with hesitant or skeptical parents.
- Schedule and coordinate trial sessions with the operations team.
- Follow up proactively with leads to move them through the funnel and close conversions.
- Maintain detailed records in the CRM and share insights on common concerns, drop-off points, and improvement areas.
Must-Have Skills
Strong verbal and written communication (English is mandatory; regional languages are a plus).Ability to build rapport quickly and manage different types of parent personalities — including rigid or skeptical ones.Active listening, problem-solving mindset, and emotional intelligence.Comfort with CRM tools, Google Workspace, and basic sales tracking.Preferred Qualifications
