Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled L3 Engineer with strong expertise in Omnissa (formerly VMware EUC) and Active Directory to support our North American customers during night shift hours. This role requires deep operational knowledge of VMware Horizon components , particularly Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) , and will include troubleshooting, optimization, and project-based delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 support for VMware Horizon environments, focusing on DEM, UAG, App Volumes, and Connection Servers
- Act as a subject matter expert for complex Active Directory configurations, policies, and integration with EUC platforms
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VDI environments for performance and end-user experience
- Collaborate with L1 / L2 teams for incident escalation and resolution
- Interface directly with clients to understand issues and deliver timely resolutions
- Participate in environment upgrades, patching, and change control
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks
- Be open to learning and achieving additional certifications on EUC products
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–6 years of hands-on experience in VMware Horizon infrastructure, including DEMStrong expertise in Microsoft Active Directory , GPOs, OU structuring, and authentication integrationsProven track record of handling production incidents in enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to work night shift (IST) to support North American customersStrong problem-solving and documentation skillsPreferred (Nice to Have)
Exposure to Parallels RAS, Island, AVD, or Citrix technologiesAdvance scripting knowledge (PowerShell, VBScript)Experience in secure browser or ZTNA environmentsITIL Foundation certificationWhat We Offer
