BIM Lead - Utilities

Responsibilities

• Effectively collaborate with different departments to support and manage the transition to BIM methodologies.
• Experienced in providing guidance and delivering training to project teams for the effective management and execution of BIM projects.
• Should have knowledge of information standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192, BS 1192)
• Manage digital construction models and BIM workflows across project stages.
• Develop, implement, and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards.
• Coordinate information and data management between all stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective coordination and communication among project teams, clients, and consultants.
• Provide design and drafting support for civil engineering projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and model gravity and pressure networks for master planning, transportation, and highway projects.
• Prepare and detail Right-of-Way (ROW) cross-sections for all utilities.
• Use Autodesk Civil 3D extensively for utility design, modelling, and documentation.
• Build and maintain Civil 3D catalogues and libraries to streamline workflows and support efficient design delivery.
• Export models to Navisworks, Revit, and other platforms for multidisciplinary coordination.
• Perform clash detection and resolution using appropriate BIM tools, identifying conflicts and coordinating with relevant disciplines in a timely and organized manner.
• Deliver coordinated, clash-checked design packages on time and within budget.
• Produce design documentation, drawings, and technical reports in line with project requirements and deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement by developing standard BIM workflows, libraries, and best practices to enhance team efficiency.
