Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Jr Android Developer (Fresher) to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time position ideal for candidates with 0 to 1 year of work experience who are eager to learn and grow their career in mobile app development. You will work alongside experienced developers to deliver high-quality scalable Android applications and contribute to various innovative projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Kotlin (Mandatory skill) : foundational knowledge of Kotlin demonstrating the ability to build modern Android applications efficiently and safely following current programming practices.
• Android SDK (Mandatory skill) : experience working with core Android components and libraries to create high-performing and user-friendly mobile applications.
• REST APIs (Mandatory skill) : familiarity with consuming RESTful web services for integrating backend functionalities into Android apps.
• Java : basic to intermediate understanding of Java programming for Android development enabling maintenance of legacy codebases and working with existing projects.
• SQLite : knowledge of utilizing SQLite as a database solution for storing retrieving and managing app data locally on Android devices.
• Git : experience with version control using Git to collaborate with team members and manage source code in a structured workflow environment.
• Material Design : understanding of implementing Googles Material Design principles for creating visually appealing and intuitive Android user interfaces.
• XML : ability to design and develop user interface layouts and resources in Android apps using XML effectively ensuring responsive UI across various devices.
