Role Overview
The Sr. IT Administrator (Asst. Manager) will oversee and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, ensure system reliability, implement cybersecurity measures, and lead process improvement initiatives. The role requires both technical depth and leadership skills to manage day-to-day operations and drive IT efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the organization's servers, networks, and data storage systems to ensure uptime and performance.
- Administer and optimize Google Workspace , ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise tools.
- Oversee cybersecurity measures , including firewalls, Endpoint Security tools, and regular system audits to maintain compliance and data protection.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT procurement, maintenance, and implementation of new solutions.
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory , software licenses, and compliance records.
- Lead process automation and system improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Train end-users on Google Workspace and other enterprise applications for better adoption and productivity.
- Prepare periodic reports on IT performance, incidents, and improvement plans for management review.
- Supervise and mentor the IT team, ensuring effective task allocation and timely problem resolution.
- Manage Active Directory , Office 365, and user access policies across all systems.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of network infrastructure , server management, and IT systems administration.Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Google Workspace .In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, endpoint protection, and data backup strategies .Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Strong leadership ability — capable of managing, mentoring, and motivating the IT support team.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure with tight timelines.Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Certifications like CCNA, MCSA, or Google Workspace Administrator are an added advantage.EXPERIENCE NEEDED - 4-5 yearsSkills Required
