Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing. Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright , Appium(preferred) or similar is an added advantage Solid understanding of web application development and testing lifecycle. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience with performance and security testing for web-based applications. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTǪB) is a plus.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the Ǫuality Engineering (ǪE) team in developing web-based applications.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for web applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Conduct and manage user tests to validate the feasibility of the design, evaluate its functionality, and assess its ease of use as part of a user-centered design process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure high-quality releases.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify, document, and track defects.
- Mentor and guide junior ǪE team members, providing technical leadership and support.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web-based testing and automation.
