Reporting to our QA Manager, we are looking for a technically savvy Lead QE to join our team and help drive the growth of INSTANDA.

You will be an SME in Testing, providing leadership not just at a scrum team level, but in the QA Team and across multiple areas or projects. The role combines hands-on testing and leadership activities to support and guide testing across multiple teams and / or projects.

This role is fully remote.

What you will do

• Ensuring that testing is being directed based on current needs, in line with the defined roadmap and working with QA Manager / s to ensure resourcing needs are anticipated
• Collaborating with Development Leads and other stakeholders to champion and guide the implementation of testing practices to support delivery within the project and teams
• Actively participating in all phases of software development lifecycles, getting hands-on to support testing activities across teams
• Collaborating with Business Analysts and Development teams to analyse requirements and build the appropriate plans and support the testing effort
• Monitoring, measuring and reporting on team progress while supporting your team / s to ensure their ability to deliver on their commitments and team objectives
• Applying and articulating extensive, practical experience with modern test practices within an Agile context to the test engineers and developers
• Understand INSTANDA’s features, functionality and intended use to effectively plan, design, and oversee testing activities
• Proactively supporting the QA Manager / s in driving continuous improvement with the training, tools and processes to support the QA Team and across the company
• Supporting Quality Engineers to build and maintain a positive, effective and efficient team, including coaching and mentoring
• Line management responsibilities for Quality Engineers
• Providing timely updates to the QA Manager on the progress of their projects, escalating concerns where required
