Technical Sales Engineer
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Engineer to drive LTPL's growth by promoting and selling Fiber Laser machines (air- and water-cooled), Laser Welding systems, YAG Welding machines, Laser Marking machines, and Special Purpose Machines (SPM). You will generate leads, manage the sales process, deliver technical consultations and product demonstrations, and build strong client relationships to achieve targets.
Identify and generate high-quality sales leads for Fiber Laser machines (air-cooled and water-cooled), Laser Welding systems, YAG Welding machines, Laser Marking machines, and Special Purpose Machines (SPM) through cold calling, industrial visits, digital platforms, and professional networking. Prepare and deliver in-depth technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client-specific requirements. Explain the features, advantages, and applications of our laser machines, automation systems, and related equipment. Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track key sales metrics, and follow up diligently to convert leads into long-term clients.
Analyze client needs, equipment specifications, and system requirements to recommend optimal solutions. Draft, present, and negotiate commercial proposals, price quotations, and contracts in alignment with company policies. Manage the entire sales process – from lead generation and qualification to deal closure and after-sales coordination. Coordinate with the logistics and service teams for timely delivery, installation, and commissioning of equipment. Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive product development, feature upgrades, modification. Identify process inefficiencies within the sales and technical consultation cycle and propose actionable improvements. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, project status, market intelligence, and customer engagements for leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering. A diploma or equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience may also be considered. Experience : 2–4 years of proven experience in industrial sales, preferably in laser machines, welding systems, automation solutions, or related industrial equipment. Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of Fiber Laser (air-cooled and water-cooled) machines, Laser Welding systems, YAG Welding machines, Laser Marking machines, and SPMs; ability to interpret technical specifications, client requirements, and system applications. Communication & Presentation : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients across industries. Customer Orientation : Strong focus on client satisfaction, after-sales support, and feedback-driven product improvement. Travel & Networking : Willingness to travel for industrial visits, client meetings, trade shows, and exhibitions. Strong networking skills to build and maintain industry contacts.
