Job Overview :

The product team at Airtel Payments Bank is a highly motivated, forward thinking team comprised of highly talented product managers with a singular focus of delivering innovative products. As a product manager you will own one or more product features of high complexity or importance. With minimal supervision, you will develop a product strategy and lead project execution.

About Lending & Wealth Management Vertical :

Airtel Payments Bank's Financial Services Product Vertical is integral to the holistic approach in meeting diverse customer financial needs. This cross-sell team offers a wide array of products including Lending (unsecured personal and business loans, secured gold loans, and auto-loans), and Wealth Management solutions such as Fixed Deposits and DigiGold. Operating under RBI guidelines, the team facilitate seamless customer referrals to esteemed Partner Banks and NBFCs, ensuring robust financial offerings through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities :

This role will comprise of

• User Centric Mindset : You will be responsible for understanding customer needs as well as stay on top of the customer pulse via secondary insights - both qualitative and quantitative. Should have Capability to independently translate user feedback into actionable insights for product development.
• Product Vision & Strategy : Should have ability to independently define both long-term strategy and quarterly roadmap to achieve the product vision and create impact. Product enhancement with a problem first, data-driven, and test & iterate approach.
• Product Development Life Cycle : Should have strong understanding of stages that a product goes through from concept to market launch & beyond.
• Ecosystem collaboration : Self-starter to collaborate closely with ecosystem players to co-build products. Effectively influencing stakeholders, building alliances, and advocating product strategies
• Market Research & Analysis - Conduct in-depth market research to understand user needs, industry trends, and regulatory landscape for payments in India.
• Tech Know-how - Strong knowledge of engineering practices in product development using Agile / Scrum principles. Ensure that product requirements are feasible and technically viable. Collaborate closely with engineering teams, to prioritize features and ensure alignment with product road map goals
• Data-driven decision making – You will be responsible in using data and analytics to guide decisions about product development , enhancement and in deciding overall strategy of the product.
