Role

We are hiring a Senior Manager – Category to own strategy, assortment, vendor development, pricing, and P&L for Freshly’s expanding fresh-grocery portfolio. This is a high-impact role where you will build categories from the ground up and work closely with founders across product, operations, and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute category strategy across Freshly’s fresh-grocery portfolio.
• Build and refine assortment, pricing ladders, visibility plans, and margin structures.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; negotiate commercials and improve unit economics.
• Ensure product availability, demand planning accuracy, and low stock-outs across stores.
• Own category P&L : margins, wastage norms, offers, and efficiencies.
• Drive customer insights, velocity analysis, and data-led decision making.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and marketing to drive category growth and experience.
