Position : National Sales Manager – Franchisee (Based in Bengaluru)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales and business development of the Franchisee segment, as well as scaling up the Franchisee count. You will expand and penetrate both existing and unexplored cities. This role requires at least 10-12 years of experience in the Franchisee segment in a business capacity. You should be familiar with a variety of industry best practices and procedures, and rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The role involves performing a variety of tasks, and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically, you will report to a Division Leader.

Key Responsibilities :

Responsible for the sales of the Franchisee business with a focus on increasing penetration and market share. Manage the Franchisee team. Identify new Franchisee opportunities and scale up the Franchisee count. Work with multiple external stakeholders, including Franchisee partners, digital agencies, and various platforms. Track and record activities at key accounts in SFDC to ensure organized efforts for achieving sales of 3M products. Collaborate with the Segment Manager and Marketing to ensure NWI and inventory turns are under control to deliver the plan. Interface with the market / channel and 3M legal and regulatory organizations to ensure compliance with 3M policies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

  • Sales growth at assigned accounts and acquisition of new accounts.
  • Growth in new product sales.
  • Establishment of sales patterns aiding demand forecasts.
  • Expansion of the Franchisee business footprint.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications :

  • MBA (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :

  • At least 10-12 years of experience in business roles (Sales / Marketing).
  • Experience in the field of Franchisee is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
