As a Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for converting incoming leads into confirmed admissions for colleges in India and Europe. You will act as the first point of contact for students and parents, understand their needs, guide them through the application process, and ensure a seamless admission journey.
- Key Responsibilities : Convert leads into confirmed admissions through structured counselling and follow-ups.
- Communicate with potential students and parents via calls, WhatsApp, emails, and chat.
- Understand the student's academic background, budget, preferences, and goals to recommend suitable colleges and courses.
- Counsel students on the application process, admission timelines, entrance exams (if any), visa support (for Europe), and more.
- Collaborate with internal teams for documentation, application submissions, and onboarding support.
- Maintain detailed records of leads, interactions, and conversions in the CRM system.
- Meet weekly and monthly targets for admissions and follow-ups.
- Stay up to date with admission criteria, courses, scholarships, and fee structures of partnered institutions.
- Requirements : Bachelor's degree in any field (Education background preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in business development, counselling, or sales, preferably in the education sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident, persuasive, and target-driven approach.
- Fluent in English and Hindi – knowing Marathi is a brownie point, especially to connect with students from Maharashtra.
- Understanding of Indian and European college admission processes is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
