Mandatory Skills

AutoCAD customization using AutoLISP, .NET, and ObjectARX
Strong programming skills in C++, VB.NET, or C#
In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD APIs and SDKs

Job Description

As an AutoCAD Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining customized AutoCAD applications to streamline drafting and design workflows. The role involves building WinForm applications, console applications, and class libraries to enhance the AutoCAD user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize AutoCAD plugins and applications using AutoLISP, .NET, and ObjectARX.

Design and implement WinForm applications with intuitive interfaces for AutoCAD tools.

Build console applications for batch processing and automation of repetitive CAD tasks.

Develop reusable class libraries to improve modularity and development efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support integration.

Troubleshoot and debug issues related to AutoCAD and associated applications.

Enhance and optimize existing AutoCAD tools, including WinForms and class libraries.

Stay updated with industry trends and adopt new technologies in AutoCAD development.

Write clean, maintainable, and standards-compliant code.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on expertise in AutoLISP, .NET, ObjectARX for AutoCAD customization

Strong programming knowledge in C++, VB.NET, or C#

Experience in WinForm application development

Ability to create console applications for automation

Experience developing class libraries for reusability

Strong understanding of AutoCAD APIs and SDKs

Familiarity with version control tools like Git

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of CAD design principles and engineering fundamentals

Education & Experience

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science , or a related field

Proven experience as an AutoCAD Developer or in a similar role

Relevant certifications in AutoCAD customization / programming are an added advantage
