Currently we are looking for a Sales Manager with extensive experience in B2B sales ideally in the flavors & fragrances industry to join our team in India. This is a key strategic position aimed at strengthening and expanding our business across the Indian region.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and develop strong commercial relationships with key accounts across the Indian region.
- Manage and motivate the local sales team, ensuring alignment with global commercial goals.
- Define and execute the regional sales strategy.
- Drive business development initiatives, identifying growth opportunities in the regional market.
- Deliver on sales targets, preparing monthly reports and forecasts.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, customer meetings, and supplier visits as required.
- Collaborate with suppliers on commercial terms, pricing, and resolve any operational issues (quality, logistics, etc.).
- Coordinate sourcing and purchasing activities across the APAC region, working closely with global procurement and supply chain teams.
- Develop and manage relationships with suppliers, including price negotiations, quality follow-up, and complaint resolution (quality, service, delivery).
Candidate Profile :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Management, or related fields.At least 8–10 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the chemical, F&F, or related industries.Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage key accounts, and grow business in international markets.Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.Availability to travel across the Indian region and attend international fairs.
