EL2 Senior Employment Lawyer (Special Counsel) - Major Commonwealth Agency

The Role

This is a senior-level contract opportunity at Special Counsel / Director level , offering the chance for high level employment law advisory services and practice within a dynamic, high-performing legal team.

You will :

Provide specialist advice on employment law in a Commonwealth context, including APS employment frameworks, enterprise agreements, and workplace relations

Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals

Manage strategic employment litigation and dispute resolution matters

Know and ensure compliance with the Commonwealth's Legal Services Directions

Employment law is the core focus , complemented by leadership responsibilities and stakeholder engagement at the highest level.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Australian citizens, be qualified as a Lawyer and hold a Baseline security clearance or higher.
