Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET 1)

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET 1) to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in functional testing and QA processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. This role involves designing test cases, automating UI and API testing, and contributing to the overall test strategy in a fast-paced Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute test cases to validate functional and non-functional requirements.
• Establish and optimize QA processes for improved test efficiency.
• Perform UI automation using Selenium / Playwright and API testing using Rest Assured.
• Implement mobile automation using Appium for testing mobile applications.
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter (nice to have).
• Collaborate with development teams to improve test coverage and maintain high standards of quality.
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and work with engineers to resolve defects.
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for reliability and Skills & Qualifications :
• 2-3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of QA processes and test case design.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java / Python (at least one).
• Experience in UI automation using Selenium or Playwright.
• API testing expertise using Rest Assured.
• Mobile testing experience with Appium.
• Experience in performance testing using JMeter. (nice to have)
• Knowledge of CI / CD and automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
