About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our platform team, focused on delivering high-quality backend solutions in a complex, high-scale delivery ecosystem. This is a remote opportunity for candidates who are passionate about backend automation, problem-solving, and developing scalable test infrastructures.

Youll work on APIs that support diverse business lines (food, grocery, liquor, etc.), and tackle real-world technical challenges such as flaky network handling, battery optimization, and intelligent compliance solutions using technologies like ML.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks for backend systems, APIs, and integration layers.
• Drive API testing using tools like Rest Assured, with strong ownership of backend validation.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to deliver high-quality releases.
• Lead test planning, strategy, and execution with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure high coverage of functional and non-functional requirements in automation.
• Quickly learn and adapt to evolving technologies and frameworks.
