Senior Engineer - Flood Risk Modelling

As Senior Engineer (Flood Risk Modelling) within our Water Team, you will take responsibility to provide technical support and independently deliver flood modelling projects to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients.

The role requirement includes leading projects based on hydraulic modelling and flood risk based studies using industry standard software (Flood Modeller Pro, Tuflow, Estry, HEC-RAS, Infoworks ICM 2D) as well as other projects requiring detailed technical analysis and providing support to junior colleagues.

You will be expected to have a strong background / working knowledge on 1d-2d hydraulic modelling, hydrological modelling, major flood alleviation schemes, highway infrastructure projects and GIS based analytical tools with a thorough understanding of the UK Water industry and legislation.
