QA Lead Engineer - Automation & IP routing

How Will You Contribute -

We are looking for stellar test & automation engineer in 'IP routing and networking domain' to test platform & L2 / L3 feature sets in distributed & disaggregated chassis systems.

Required Skills -

• Engage engineering teams, product line managers and product owners to transform high-level requirements into optimized test coverage.
• Develop test strategies and test plans to fully exercise Packet Optical Transport product; System level, Routing and Switching, Provisioning, Performance and Scale, Fault management, Network traffic integrity.
• Write effective automation to cover different feature sets to minimize continuous manual efforts.
• Manual & automation testing for various feature sets within agile methodology and involve software designers for quick resolution of critical and blocking bugs.
• Test coverage per release and software requirements and fulfill gaps whenever required by manual & automation testing.
• Analysis of sanity / regression results and make sure to triage software issues with designers within time for quality executions.
• Use test engineering knowledge to create system level tests to drive improvements in scalability, performance & high availability.
• Coordinate with peer scrum teams and technology leaders to ensure excellent cross-component & cross-scrum QA strategy and coverage for platform & software feature-sets.
• Understand customer use-cases & deployment scenarios to have better test alignment with release & present customer-demos when required.
• Interact with PLM, architects and release managers to harden requirements.
• Contribute to IETF and company's intellectual properties (Patents, White papers). Watch for industry standards and data application trends & alert senior management of potential roadblocks in product development.
• Exchange vast experience / ideas with team to promote learning.
