Altruist Technologies - L1 Desktop Support Engineer

Description :

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows / Linux) on desktops and laptops.
• Provide hardware support, including assembly, upgrades, and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with installation and configuration of standard software and updates.
• Handle basic networking issues including DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewall configuration.
• Set up and troubleshoot MS Outlook (configuration, backup, restore).
• Support user account management in Active Directory (add / delete / disable).
• Manage BitLocker encryption and recovery processes.
• Install and troubleshoot network printers and scanners.
• Perform antivirus installation, update, and system virus protection checks.
• Provide remote desktop support and on-site troubleshooting as needed.
• Coordinate with hardware vendors for repairs and warranty claims.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets (hardware and software).
