Consultant Nephrologist

About The Opportunity

Healthcare — Nephrology & Renal Care sector serving tertiary and multi-specialty hospital settings. We deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient kidney care, dialysis services, and peri‑ / post‑transplant management across high-volume clinical pathways. Position : Consultant Nephrologist (on-site, India).

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient nephrology care, including assessment and management of AKI, CKD, electrolyte disorders, and multisystem complications.
• Lead and oversee dialysis services : perform / coordinate hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis rounds, prescribe dialysis regimens, and optimise individualised treatment plans.
• Perform specialty procedures : ultrasound-guided kidney biopsy and procedural management; coordinate CRRT and plasmapheresis for critically ill patients.
• Manage pre- and post-renal transplant patients in collaboration with transplant surgeons—monitor immunosuppression, rejection surveillance and long-term follow-up.
• Drive clinical governance for the dialysis unit : implement protocols, ensure infection control, audit outcomes, and support vascular access care pathways.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (intensivists, surgeons, nephrology nursing, lab services) and contribute to teaching, case reviews, and clinical quality improvement initiatives.
