Job Description :
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Analyst to join our clients cybersecurity and IT operations team. This role is focused on certificate lifecycle management, ensuring the security, availability, and compliance of digital certificates across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with PKI tools and certificate authorities, and contribute to process automation and optimization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of digital certificates, including issuance, renewal, revocation, and validation.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure timely provisioning and renewal of SSL / TLS certificates.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to PKI, SSL errors, and certificate-based authentication failures.
- Support and guide users in obtaining, installing, and using PKI-enabled applications.
- Interface with Public Certificate Authorities (CAs) such as DigiCert, Sectigo, Let's Encrypt, and AWS CA.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for PKI systems, processes, policies, and
SOPs.
Improve and automate certificate lifecycle workflows using scripting or tools such as Venafi,Sectigo Certificate Manager, or ServiceNOW TLS Manager.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in incident response and root cause analysis (RCA) forcertificate-related outages.
Participate in and lead critical outage calls where certificates may be involved.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify efficiency improvements in PKI andcompliance processes.
Required Skills and Experience :
2 - 5 years of hands-on experience with Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools such as Venafi, Sectigo Certificate Manager, or ServiceNOW TLS ManagerSolid understanding of PKI components and cryptographic standards.Experience managing public and private certificate authorities (CAs)Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or JIRAGood understanding of cloud services (AWS core services preferred), including securitygroups, EC2, Terraform, or Jenkins
Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting capabilitiesAbility to create, update, and maintain SOP documentation and user guidesExperience participating in or driving resolution in certificate-related incidents or outagesPreferred Certifications :
