Job Description

• Fully understands Finance & Accounting functions and common best practices / processes for how they operate, as well their interactions in an F&A lifecycle.
• Manages the delivery of all F&A services for assigned engagements including the planning, execution and management of month end close deliverables.
• Managing overall financial operations of the country end to end.
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements as per US GAAP and local statutory requirements
• General Accounting : Preparation and posting of journals. Fixed assets processes and perform all other activities related to General Ledger on SAP.
• Scrutiny of General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, cash reconciliation
• Performing various controls in order to maintain accuracy in the financial reporting
• Supports general ad hoc reporting requests.
• Coordinates audit preparation and responds to information requests to support tax filings, local statutory audits and Global audits.
• Support the transition of entire accounting system and procedures for different countries being onsite / offsite
• Support SAP implementation, migration and smooth hyper care after implementation
• Ensure robust financial accounting systems to provide accurate and timely information for management reporting
• Ensure timely annual reporting and compliance calendar.
• Interacts effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm, including onshore engagement teams; functional leaders, demonstrates the capability to build and maintain strong relationships across the practice.
• Ensures adherence of Global policies, procedures and accounting principles.

Education

Experience

Qualified CA with 2-5 years of experience delivering services for and managing F&A functions for regions like EMEA / APAC / US
