Quality Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Quality Analyst (QA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manually testing software to ensure it meets specified requirements and quality standards. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify bugs, verify fixes, and ensure overall product quality. Key Responsibilities : Analyze product requirements and design test cases and test scenarios. Perform thorough manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and usability testing. Report and track bugs using a defect tracking system (e.G., Jira, Bugzilla). Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Document test results and maintain test logs. Participate in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives (Agile / Scrum environment). Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in manual software testing. -Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Experience with test case design, test planning, and defect reporting. Familiarity with test management tools (e.G., TestRail, Zephyr). Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to validate data in databases is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication abilities
