About the Role
We are looking for a visionary and performance-driven Head of Ecommerce to lead and scale our digital commerce initiatives for a fast-growing women’s apparel brand. This is a strategic leadership role where you will be responsible for defining and executing the brand’s ecommerce growth strategy across both Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channels and online marketplaces (such as Myntra, Amazon, Ajio, Flipkart, Nykaa Fashion, etc.).
As the Ecommerce Head, you will own the full funnel — from digital merchandising, conversion, and user experience, to customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. You will work closely with marketing, merchandising, operations, and product teams to ensure a seamless and delightful customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead the end-to-end ecommerce strategy across D2C website and all relevant online marketplaces, aligning with brand goals and growth targets.
Optimize the brand’s owned website for user experience, conversion, retention, and average order value. Drive innovation in UX, loyalty programs, and personalization to deliver a premium online shopping experience.
Drive revenue and visibility across marketplaces by managing listings, pricing, content, advertising, and promotions. Build relationships with platform account managers and drive collaborative growth plans.
Partner with the marketing team to design and implement performance campaigns that drive high ROAS across Google, Meta, and affiliate channels. Own ecommerce KPIs — CAC, LTV, conversion rate, and AOV.
Forecast ecommerce demand and revenue across all platforms. Lead category planning, inventory alignment, and pricing strategy in line with market trends and seasonality.
Collaborate with web developers and tech vendors to enhance platform capabilities including SEO, speed, CRM integrations, and mobile responsiveness.
Build and manage a high-performing ecommerce team — from content to digital merchandising and customer support.
Drive data-backed decision-making through strong command over ecommerce analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify / Unicommerce dashboards, etc.) and customer data insights.
