Overview

The Business Development Executive / Manager plays a crucial role in driving growth and expansion within the organization. This position involves identifying new business opportunities cultivating relationships with potential clients and developing strategies to enhance company revenue and market presence. The incumbent will leverage their expertise in online bidding processes understanding client needs and proposing tailored solutions that align with the companys goals. As a pivotal member of the business development team the successful candidate will not only contribute to meeting sales targets but also enhance brand visibility in the competitive landscape. Effective communication strategic thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential attributes for this role. The Business Development Executive / Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams ensuring collaborative efforts translate into tangible outcomes. Therefore the role requires someone who is not just focused on closing deals but is equally invested in building long-term partnerships that foster sustained growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients and markets to generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies and action plans.
  • Engage in online bidding platforms to secure new projects and contracts.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities results and forecasts.
  • Attend networking events conferences and industry-related workshops to promote the companys services.
  • Monitor customer feedback for continuous improvement of services offered.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure smooth implementation of secured projects.
  • Identify and drive improvements in internal processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay updated on changes within the business environment that may affect client needs.
  • Train and mentor junior team members as necessary in business development practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development sales or a related position.
  • Strong understanding of online bidding platforms and processes.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills to identify market trends.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and partners.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and business development tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in project management is an advantage.
  • Networking experience in industry-related events.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to embrace change in a dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategies is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Multilingual abilities can be advantageous depending on market reach.
