QA Engineer

We are actively seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our client's team through Acme Services . This pivotal role requires a strong understanding of Test Case Design and practical experience with various testing types, including Functional, Regression, and Sanity Testing . The ideal candidate will also possess a good grasp of test scenarios, test plans, and test reports , along with basic knowledge of Automation Testing using Python for Selenium and experience with Postman for API Testing .

Key Responsibilities

• Test Case Design & Execution : Apply strong knowledge of Test Case Design principles to create effective and comprehensive test cases. Execute various types of testing, including Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Sanity Testing , to ensure software quality.
• Documentation & Reporting : Develop and maintain clear test scenarios, test plans, and test reports , ensuring thorough documentation of testing activities and results.
• Automation Testing (Basic) : Contribute to Automation Testing efforts, utilizing Python programming knowledge for Selenium to automate test cases.
• API Testing : Perform API Testing using tools like Postman to validate backend functionalities and integrations.
• Defect Identification & Reporting : Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Quality Assurance : Work closely with development and product teams to ensure software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
