To support our growth on Upwork, we are looking for a Mid-Level Business Development Associate who can strengthen our proposal pipeline and contribute to predictable client acquisition.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone who has solid Upwork bidding experience and is ready to take the next step into a more strategic, outcomes-driven BD environment.

You will manage the end-to-end Upwork bidding process , craft personalized proposals, and collaborate with the leadership team to qualify high-quality leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and shortlist quality Upwork jobs matching the company's capabilities
• Write client-specific, personalized proposals (no generic templates)
• Maintain consistent daily bidding activity with accuracy
• Follow up with clients and manage initial communication
• Understand client requirements and align them with technical capabilities
• Maintain proposal ideas, case studies, and documentation
• Track performance metrics and contribute to win-rate improvements
• Coordinate with the leadership team for call setups and scoping discussions
