Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Identification & Evaluation : Research and assess potential suppliers for electrical components like inverters, transformers, switchgear, and wiring systems used in solar installations.
• Contract Negotiation : Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and service agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality.
• Technical Collaboration : Work closely with design and project engineers to ensure procured items meet technical specifications and project requirements.
• Inventory & Logistics Management : Monitor inventory levels, forecast future needs, and coordinate timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure all procured equipment complies with industry standards and certifications relevant to solar energy systems.
• Cost Optimization : Conduct cost-benefit analyses and identify opportunities for savings through strategic sourcing and vendor partnerships.
