Role Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and organized Social Media Head who understands the pulse of sports and can lead our digital presence with energy and precision. You will be responsible for planning and executing content, managing interns, handling hiring, and being the go-to person for all things social during our events. This is not a remote desk job — you’ll need to be present on event days, coordinating with ground teams and capturing moments as they happen.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

Develop and maintain content calendars across all platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)

Build campaigns that align with our tournament timelines and sports ecosystem

Ensure timely and relevant content delivery around events and league activities

On-ground Execution

Be present and active on all event days, coordinating with photographers, videographers, and media interns

Manage live coverage, collect behind-the-scenes content, and direct social media activity in real-time

Sync with matchday ops to capture key moments and deliver content quickly

Team Leadership & Hiring

Lead and mentor a team of interns and junior creators

Manage task delegation, timelines, and output review

Handle hiring, onboarding, and intern performance tracking

Organizational & Communication Excellence

Be structured in planning, prioritizing, and meeting content deadlines

Stay available for regular calls, meetings, and cross-functional coordination

Collaborate with operations, sales, and design teams for aligned communication

Who We’re Looking For

3–5 years of experience in social media, content, or digital marketing

Experience working in sports, events, or fast-paced content environments preferred

Highly organized with strong leadership skills

Excellent command over social platforms and content tools (Canva, Meta tools, Google Suite, etc.)

Willingness to work weekends / event days and be available for meetings and calls

A true team player who thrives in dynamic, on-ground sports settings
