An exciting opportunity has arisen for a WordPress Developer to join a dynamic and innovative team. If you're passionate about building next-level applications, creating scalable solutions, this role is for you!

The Role :

  • Build and optimise high-performing, secure, and scalable WordPress solutions.
  • Partner with designers, product owners, and key stakeholders to shape project goals and specifications.
  • Write clean, modular code that prioritises efficiency, maintainability, and industry best practices.
  • Keep pace with the latest advancements in CMS platforms and web technologies.
  • Coordinate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and system integration.

What Youll Bring :

  • Strong experience in backend development, secure design, and WordPress standards.
  • Solid understanding of Agile development practices.
  • Expertise in Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, Clean Code, and TDD.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Experience with Laravel, React, Drupal, Git, CI / CD is a plus.

    • The ideal candidate should have :

  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and / or web applications
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
  • Good verbal and good written English
  • Experience in using Asana is preferable but not critical
  • Preferably a good design eye
  • Ideally 12+ years experience of working with WordPress
