We are looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer to join our remote team. This role is focused on building, maintaining, and improving the technical systems that power our lead generation engine. You’ll design custom tools, automate workflows, and own internal integrations that allow us to scale without adding headcount.
Responsibilities
Systems & Tool Development
- Build internal tools for data cleaning, inbox management, lead validation, and scraping (e.g., Apollo, Google Maps).
- Develop scripts and automations (Python, JavaScript, or Google Apps Script) to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Create and maintain dashboards for campaign tracking, billing, and lead distribution.
- Integrate with 3rd-party APIs (e.g., Instantly, Gmail, Slack, Stripe, Apollo) to automate workflows.
Automation & Infrastructure
Manage and optimize workflow automations using platforms like n8n, Zapier, or custom scripts.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in scrapers, automations, and outreach tools quickly.Handle large-scale data processing (imports / exports, CSV validation, deduplication).Design reliable processes for inbox warmup tracking, domain management, and lead delivery.Process Execution & Improvement
Audit existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation.Document systems, scripts, and SOPs for internal use.Proactively suggest improvements to enhance reliability, speed, and scalability.Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to understand bottlenecks and build solutions.Communicate progress and blockers clearly via Slack, email, and project tools.Deliver weekly updates on automation performance, tool usage, and system stability.Requirements
Strong coding skills in Python (preferred), JavaScript, or Google Apps Script.Experience with APIs and data integration.Familiarity with automation platforms (Zapier, n8n, Integromat) and workflow orchestration.Comfort working with large datasets (Google Sheets, Excel, databases, CSV).Problem-solving mindset with ability to work independently.Strong English communication (written and spoken).Availability for 40 hours / week, semi-aligned with U.S. business hours.Nice to Have
Experience in email outreach tools (Instantly, Woodpecker, Smartlead, etc.).Knowledge of CRM systems and lead generation workflows.Background in SaaS, data engineering, or marketing tech.Prior experience building internal tools or custom scrapers.Compensation
