General understanding of welding timers and guns is desirable.Hand on experience for Programming and Maintenance of various type of robotics application like welding, preferrable Kuka and NC ControllerKnowledge of welding parameters for MiG / MaG weldingKnowledge of PLCs, like Siemens Step 7, S1200...etcKnowledge of simulation softwares, like RobCAD, Process SimulateFamiliarity with basics of global Industrial Robot standards and specification.Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics.Knowledge of CAD and PLM tools (CATIA, DELMIA)Behavioural Competencies

Refers decision to others when appropriateSelf-Motivation.Logical and organizedGood communication.Key Responsibilities :Make adjustments on existing robot weld programsProgram spot welding / MiG welding robot on various systems to ensure optimal production outputReview and improve robotic process and sequence to improve cycle timesProvide daily production support for robotic weld cellsConduct troubleshooting and repairs on PLC controlled systems and programsCheck completed parts to ensure compliance with required weld quality acceptance criteriaModify existing robot programs to improve robot reliability, maintainability,& performanceConduct root cause analysis for all robot downtimesWork with equipment OEM to improve robotic cells and address operational issuesContinuous improvement of robotic stations efficienciesLeading co-engineering phase during design developmentConduct trainings for OperatorsLead the SAT and FAT validation for Robotic CellsStrong co-ordination with consultant team for design review, schedule monitoring, detail planning activityProductivity Improvement intiativesManage all documents control, special process, flow charts. Prepare & maintain assembly instructions for production areaParticipating to the development of the tooling strategy including the evaluation of re-use of existing toolingCollision detection Test for the first serial productionPrepare SOP for robot programming & maintenanceONLINE programming : Robot sequence validation, welding spot validation, cycle time validation using RobCAD / Process Simulate softwaresInstallation, verification of welding robots bringing the system to stage ready for production.Breakdown analysis, Root cause of Corrective Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, Elimination of the problems, MTTR, MTBF, Utility cost controlling, maintenance cost controllingLeading Digitalization drive for complete siteImplementation of Low Cost AutomationsOther activities :Bring his expertise to the industrial Costing Manager during tender phaseParticipates to R&D programs as industrial representative.Perform industrial REX on manufacturing processes.Skills Required
