Health, Safety & ComplianceEnsure adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and occupational health and safety regulations across campus.Conduct regular training on safe handling of cleaning agents, waste management, and fire safety.Maintain updated records of housekeeping audits, compliance reports, and safety checklists.Support in implementing sustainable cleaning and waste management practices.6. Event & Adhoc CoordinationPlan and execute housekeeping support for university events, conferences, cultural programs, and ceremonies.Manage special cleaning drives during student admissions, convocation, and festival celebrations.Handle emergency cleaning requirements and adhoc requests promptly and efficiently.Qualifications & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management / Business Administration or equivalent.8–12 years of experience in housekeeping or facility management, preferably in large residential campuses, universities.Proven track record of managing large teams and outsourced housekeeping contracts.Key Skills & Competencies : Strong leadership, supervision, and team management abilities.Excellent planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.Expertise in budgeting, manpower planning, and cost optimization.Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with multiple departments.Knowledge of modern housekeeping techniques, tools, and eco-friendly cleaning practices.Awareness of statutory compliance, safety norms, and waste management systems.Work Environment : This is a campus-wide role requiring daily supervision across academic and residential blocks.
