Associate Manager - Finance

Designation - Finance Manager -Looking for good experience in FP&A role. Prepare monthly, closing reports and other reports in an accurate and timely manner in and summarize company's financial position vs. budget. This includes reviewing and explaining major variances. - Co-ordinate with business divisions finance teams for timely monthly book closure and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements - Analyze Sales, costs, pricing, contributions, profit and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans, previous periods and prepare the reconciliation bridges - Prepare organization's Long Range Plan and Annual Operating Plan in a structured, timely manner in collaboration with all other functional departments - Establishes and maintains strong relationships with senior executives to work on business requirements and seek full range of potential revenue generating solutions. - Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership. Support project analysis, validation of plans, Competitor financial analysis and ad-hoc requests -Prepare presentations for various meetings viz : Board meeting, Quarterly management meeting, Monthly meeting and other adhoc meetings - Map competitor landscape on a regular basis and present the comparison, findings to management - Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. High level of attention to detail, analytical aptitude, organize work and set priorities to meet deadlines. Strong commercial & business acumen needs to be exhibited - Manage & ensure accurate, timely filing of GST returns, Income tax returns, Income Tax Audit, GST Audit. Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, Implement & communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team - Attend all tax authorities' assessment queries, issues, and notices and ensure timely closure of all assessments. - Directly supervises the Finance direct reports by assigning specific goals and objectives for each direct report, evaluating performance against those goals and objectives, and holding direct reports accountable for their performance. Qualification Qualified CA preferred with 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry experience in leading FP&A role
