Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our DevOps / Platform team. You will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You should have strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, NGINX, Dynatrace, and Linux-based systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure using GCP.
Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible.
Deploy and manage web traffic routing using NGINX.
Monitor and optimize performance using Dynatrace and other observability tools.
Ensure system reliability, uptime, and disaster recovery for production environments.
Implement CI / CD pipelines and streamline release processes.
Collaborate with development and security teams to align infrastructure with application and compliance needs.
Perform system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance on Linux servers.

Required Skills and Experience :

Cloud Platforms : Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Containerization : Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker.

Configuration Management : Experience with Ansible for provisioning and configuration.

Web Servers / Load Balancers : Deep knowledge of NGINX.

Monitoring : Familiarity with Dynatrace for APM and infrastructure monitoring.

Operating Systems : Proficient in Linux system administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, etc.).

CI / CD Pipelines : Understanding of tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, or similar.

Scripting : Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or similar languages.

Version Control : Familiarity with Git and GitOps practices.
