Job description

Credit Underwriting :

  • Assess new and enhanced credit proposals for working capital facilities.
  • Analyze financial statements, projections, and industry trends to evaluate creditworthiness.
  • Prepare detailed risk advisories covering business, financial, management, and structural risks.

Stakeholder Engagement :

  • Present credit recommendations to senior credit committees, influencing key decisions.
  • Conduct meetings with company management and lenders; perform site and plant visits for holistic credit evaluation.
  • Portfolio Management

    • Compliance & Coordination :

  • Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and RBI guidelines.
  • Coordinate with legal, valuation, and operations teams to facilitate timely disbursements.

    • Qualifications & Skills :

  • CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
  • 9 years of experience in credit underwriting for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with RBI regulations and corporate banking products.
