Job Title : Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description :

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing VMware-based infrastructure across offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities include supporting and enhancing Azure cloud services, including virtual networks, VMs, storage, and identity.

Monitor system performance and proactively implement improvements to ensure seamless integration between on-prem and cloud systems.

Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or new tools to enhance our infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.

Provide Tier 2 / 3 support and incident resolution for offshore systems.

Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Proven experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related tools is essential.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud setups is required.

Familiarity with PowerShell, Terraform, or other automation tools is desirable.

Understanding of networking, firewalls, and security protocols in offshore environments is necessary.

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams is crucial.

Passion for technology trends, with a proactive approach to learning and applying new solutions, is highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications :

Azure or VMware certifications (e.g., AZ-104, VCP) are advantageous.

Experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.

Exposure to DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines is desirable.
