Credit Transactions Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Credit Transactions Specialist to lead origination and execution of private credit opportunities in India.

This role requires a seasoned investment professional with a strong background in private credit, leveraged finance, debt advisory, or structured finance. The ideal candidate will be working closely with the leadership team and the Investment Committee to drive origination and execution of private credit opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

• Originate and evaluate private credit opportunities across mid-market and growth-stage companies
• Structure and underwrite transactions across the capital structure including senior secured, mezzanine, convertible, and other structured debt
• Build and review financial models, run sensitivity analyses, and assess covenant frameworks and downside cases
• Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the Investment Committee
• Lead due diligence and transaction execution with internal teams and external advisors
• Monitor portfolio performance, track covenants, and identify early warning signals
