  • As Assistant Manager - Business Development, you will play a key role in driving growth by prospecting, engaging, and closing high-value enterprise software deals focused on manufacturing and quality applications.
  • You will be responsible for the full sales cycle-from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • This is a high-impact role for a seasoned software sales professional with strong industry ties and a passion for building client success.
  • Key Responsibilities :

    • Prospect and acquire new enterprise clients in manufacturing, Food / Beverage, Consumer products, aerospace, life sciences, and other industrial sectors.
    • Sell high-value software solutions, including MES, QMS, and related applications that support manufacturing digitalization and quality improvement.
    • Manage the complete sales cycle : lead qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities and maintain accurate CRM records.
    • Build strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers including plant managers, quality directors, IT leaders, and C-suite executives.
    • Collaborate with technical teams (pre-sales, solution architects, delivery) to ensure alignment between customer requirements and proposed solutions.
    • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth and market expansion goals.
    • Represent ATS Global at industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote solutions and deepen market engagement.
    • Required Skills and Experience :

    • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in enterprise software sales, ideally within manufacturing, industrial automation, or quality management.
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex, high-value deals.
    • Deep understanding of manufacturing environments, including key business challenges, compliance drivers, and digital transformation trends.
    • Strong existing network within the manufacturing, engineering, and quality domains.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to tailor messaging to executive and technical audiences.
    • Self-starter with high accountability, drive, and the ability to manage deals independently.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting metrics.
