What we are looking for : We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst to test and validate Power BI reports being migrated from MicroStrategy. This role involves creating and executing test plans, validating data accuracy, and ensuring functional parity between legacy and new reporting systems. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills for working with complex datasets, experience with BI testing best practices, and preferably automation skills to streamline regression testing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Power BI reports migrated from MicroStrategy
• Validate data accuracy, transformations, and calculations by writing and running complex SQL queries against large datasets
• Ensure functional parity and consistency between legacy MicroStrategy reports and new Power BI reports
• Collaborate with BI developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify testing scope
• Perform regression, functional, and data integrity testing across multiple data sources
• Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution
• Preferably, implement and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, TypeScript, or similar tools to increase test efficiency
