Job description

We are seeking a versatile and experienced professional to take on a hybrid role of a Business Analyst / Project Manager. You will be instrumental in the development and launch of a new, strategic product that integrates with our foundational data processing system and approval workflow modules.

This role requires a unique blend of traditional business analysis, project management discipline, and a deep understanding of the travel technology landscape. You will be the vital link between the business vision, technical development teams, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis :

Lead requirements gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders to define the scope and vision for the new product.
Create detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, and functional specifications.
Analyze and model business processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Help the development team nuances of understanding of travel booking segments (Air, Hotel, Car, Rail), including NDC, LCC, and passive bookings, and how they are processed through a Global Distribution System (GDS).
Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for the development team.
Serve as the product expert and point of contact for all functional queries.

Project Management :

Develop and manage the end-to-end project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all teams (Development, QA, Product, and Stakeholders).

Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.

Manage the project backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of sprints and releases.

Report on project status, progress, and key metrics to senior management.

Ensure the final product meets the business objectives and quality standards.

Required Skills and Experience

7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Project Manager within the travel technology sector.

In-depth knowledge of GDS platforms (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo / Travelport), modern distribution channels like NDC, and their respective APIs and data structures (PNR, profiles, etc.).

Proven experience with various travel booking segments (Air, Hotel, Car, Rail), including content from Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) and the handling of passive segments for reporting and itinerary management.

Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, including API integrations, data flows, and system architecture.

Demonstrated experience in managing software development projects from conception to launch.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Atlassian) and documentation software.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.

Familiarity with corporate travel booking tools (OBTs) and TMC operations.

Previous experience launching a new product or module in a technology company
