Job Summary : A Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing an organization's computer networks. These networks can range from simple LANs (Local Area Networks) to complex WANs (Wide Area Networks) that span globally. A Network Engineer will design, implement, and manage various network solutions to ensure the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security.

Key Responsibilities :

• Network Design and Implementation : Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, VPN). Configure and install various network devices and services (, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
• Network Maintenance and Monitoring : Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Use tools to monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and optimize network performance.
• Network Security Management : Implement and manage network security measures (, firewalls, intrusion detection systems). Regularly update network security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
• Network Technical Support : Provide technical support to users and resolve network issues. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Network Documentation and Reporting : Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, including network diagrams and operational procedures. Prepare and maintain network reports and logs.
• Network Upgrades and Scalability : Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to support the organization's growth. Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations for enhancements.
• Network Compliance and Standards : Ensure network configurations comply with industry standards and best practices. Adhere to regulatory requirements related to network management.
